Happy Easter
The boys had an Easter parade at school on Thursday and each carried a fresh flower and placed it on a wire cross. I had them dressed in their Easter shirts from Grandma Diane and they were precious.
We paused our house construction for Easter weekend. Our house was not all the way together but we made the best of it. Steven's mom and Joe came in for a long weekend. I had taken the boys to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt on Monday so they were ready to hunt eggs! Saturday we met my parents at Willowfork for another Easter egg hunt and lunch. Sunday while we were at church Joe and Diane played the Easter bunny so when we came home the boys hunted eggs again. Steven cooked a nice Easter dinner and my parents joined us. It was a nice family celebration.
The boys really enjoyed have Joe and Diane around. Dylan enjoyed stuffing eggs with Diane and getting donuts every morning! They both enjoyed looking at animal pictures and listening to songs with Joe on the computer. They especially liked the chicken dance.

Levi is 18 months
Levi's 18 month check up went well and he only had to get one shot. We had been to the doctor the day before because Dylan has strep throat and an ear infection and Levi had smashed his toe with a Dr Pepper can. Luckily his toe was not broken and he just has a black toenail. He is such a tough boy that it does not seem to phase him. His 18 month stats are below:
Weight 25lbs, 10.5 ozs - 47%
Height 32 5/8 inches - 60%
Head 19 1/4 inches - 79%
At 18 months Levi is developing quite a personality. He is saying more and more words and even putting a few words together. He loves playing with Dylan, being outside, reading books about farm animals, eating fruit snacks and popsicles and dancing. He has a temper and is going to have to start getting time outs for throwing food, utensils or anything on his tray. He also picks on Dylan when he wants his attention. He already wants to be a big boy and do everything himself. He is still a great sleeper!
Cute things he does that I hope never to forget are: make animal noises like mooing, growling, quacking when he sees animals in a book, sings in the car, loves to be chased, does a silly walk when he is happy and swims in the bathtub. He still also loves to tap around in my shoes and puts one of my purses on his shoulder and waves bye to everyone in the house.
