Weekend before Christmas
Steven went on his annual boys flag football trip and Levi, Dylan and I had a big time at home. Saturday morning my mom kept Levi and Dylan and I went with Ashley and Hunter to see Curious George Christmas movie at Studio Movie Grill. Dylan loved it and was very well behaved. After the movie him and Hunter ran around in the park and even saw Santa Claus on the way back to the car! Back at home Nana, Dylan and I all made Christmas cookies - Levi tried to help. That night the little boys and I went to Ashley's for dinner and lots of play time. I thought I was going to have an easy, quiet night when both boys were alseep on our short ride home. Then ... Levi began throwing up in the car and did not stop all night! Needless to say I was super glad to see Steven Sunday afternoon and ready for a nap! Levi was tired but felt better on Sunday.

Levi is 15 months and walking
Levi started walking without help officially on December 14th. Dylan was running around the living room and Levi was doing his best to keep up and walked across the living room and kept on going. He still likes to hold hands but can walk by himself! This last week he has started talking more also and now says mama, dada, duck and moo cow. He also plays the throw his cup on the floor game and says uh oh! He can also tell you ya or no no - when you ask him if he wants something.
At Levi's 15 month check-up he was a wild man while we waited for the doctor but then well behaved for Dr. Razak. He got a good report and his stats are below:
Weight 24 lbs. 8 oz. 51%
Height 31.5 inches 64%
Head 19 inches 81%

Thanksgiving Week
We had a busy but festive Thanksgiving week. Steven's mom, Joe and Bryan came in town Wednesday and Thursday we left for the ranch. Dylan was very excited to see Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Bryan. They took him to the museum of natural science to see the dinosaurs. Thursday morning we packed it up for the ranch and stayed through Sunday. My mom cooked a fabulous dinner and we even had fried turkey! My sisters family joined us on Friday and the kids had a great time playing all weekend. Dylan's favorites were driving Layla's jeep and chasing the moo cows. Levi just enjoyed being outside and started taking some steps on his own. He is not walking yet but we are getting close. Below are a lot of pics from our week.

Pacifier Update
Steven took Dylan's pacifer away on Sunday night and we had an awful night. Monday, Dylan did not nap all day and Steven took him with his pacifers in a bad to ToyRus where he turned them in for more dinosaurs (we let him pick a toy)! He feel asleep on the car ride home but then woke up at 2:30 am and did not go back to sleep until noon Tuesday. He took a one hour nap and then Steven had to hold him in bed last night and he finally fell asleep at 9. He made it until 5:30am which was our best night so far.
I knew he loved his pacifers but I was not aware that he would be unable to even lay down/relax with out them. He just says that is is not fair. It still breaks my heart to see him so upset but the no sleeping is wearing on me. I hope to get back to our normal schedule soon.
His Uncle Bryan, Grandma and Grandpa Joe are coming in town so hopefully that will distract him.

Rough Night
Steven took all of Dylan's pacifers away yesterday. We have been planning to do this since he is now 3 but I could not bring myself to do this. It was a hard night for Dylan and me since he slept with me all night! Hopefully tonight will be better. I know this is best for Dylan but it was so sad to see how upset he was. I am glad Steven is tough enough to be the enforcer because I am definitely not. I hate to see my babies cry.
