Update and new Pics

We have all been doing well just staying too busy! Levi is more and more active everyday and is trying hard to walk. He wants to chase after Dylan. Dylan is doing well in school and still playing dinosaurs all the time at home. We are still working on his sharing with Levi. We did find out some not so good news lately and that was that Levi is highly allergic to peanuts and also allergic to eggs. We have had to make some diet changes around the house and can not keep any peanut products in the house. We have a epipen for emergencies (incase he were to accidentally get a hold of a peanut product). The doctor said he would probably outgrow the egg allergy but peanut allergies are usually lifelong.

What else are we up to? Steven has been able to do some fishing and has been succssful of so we have been having family over for fish dinners on Sunday night. I took the boys with Ashley and Hunter to Dewberry Farms last weekend and then as a family we went to the Greek festival for lunch on Sunday. We are looking forward to some relaxing weekends at home the rest of October and getting ready for Dylan to turn 3!

1st Haircut

Today Dylan and I took Levi for his first haircut. He was so happy and excited the whole time. He loved the little taxi he got to sit in and bounced and drove the car the whole time. What a handsome little man!

Happy 1st Birthday Levi

Today my baby is 1! It is hard to believe but we have a lot to celebrate. Levi is a sweet, sweet baby and has brought us so much joy. At 1 he is crawling fast and into everything. He likes to open drawers, cabinets, doors and pulls up on everything. He likes to be chased and turns and gives you a big smile and giggles. He favorite games are rolling/tossing the ball and playing dinosaurs with Dylan (when Dylan shares). He likes to play/read his board books, loves his babas and sleeps all night in his crib. He wants to do everything his big brother does and gets upset when anyone goes outside or leaves without him. Levi is a good eater and likes to try new foods, his new favorites are black beans, green peas and melons.

I took him for his 1 year appointment on his birthday and felt like a mean mom because he had to get 4 shots. His 1 year measurements are below:

Height: 30 1/4 inches (50-75%)
Weight: 23 lbs, 2 oz (50-75%)
Head 18 3/4 inches (90%)

Steven's mom flew in town today and we all met the Allen family for dinner at La Ha to celebrate. Below are pictures of Levi eating his first cupcake.

Labor Day at the Lake

We spent Labor Day weekend at my parents lakehouse with them and my sisters family. The weather was awesome and we all had a wonderful time. I am so thankful for my family especially all the little ones and the time we all get to spend together!

Back to School

Wednesday 9/1 was Dylan's first day of school. This year he is going Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. His teacher Mrs. Fiorella came to the house last week to meet him and he seemed to like her instantly! He was very excited to go see all of his friends also. Two boys from his class last year are in his class again this year so he had no problem with me leaving. What a big boy and he was proudly wearing his dinosaur underwear although he was scared of the big school potty. His first day he had no accidents but held it all day. The second day they taught him to stand up and potty so he did not have to sit on the big scary potty and this has been working well!

Thursday 9/2 was Levi's first ever day of school. He is just going to Thursdays so I have a break! It was hard to leave him and I wanted to cry but the other moms were being tough so I held it in! I was also so looking forward to some me time. Levi did awesome for a first day but did not sleep to much so when I picked him up he was exhausted! He has one of Dylan's teachers from last year, Ms. Amy who is fabulous with little ones so I know he is in good hands. Dylan goes with me to pick Levi up from his classroom and he is so excited to see him also it it too cute and he tells the teachers that is his brother.

Below are pictures of my sweet little boys from their 1st days back to school.
