Happy 1st Birthday Levi

Today my baby is 1! It is hard to believe but we have a lot to celebrate. Levi is a sweet, sweet baby and has brought us so much joy. At 1 he is crawling fast and into everything. He likes to open drawers, cabinets, doors and pulls up on everything. He likes to be chased and turns and gives you a big smile and giggles. He favorite games are rolling/tossing the ball and playing dinosaurs with Dylan (when Dylan shares). He likes to play/read his board books, loves his babas and sleeps all night in his crib. He wants to do everything his big brother does and gets upset when anyone goes outside or leaves without him. Levi is a good eater and likes to try new foods, his new favorites are black beans, green peas and melons.

I took him for his 1 year appointment on his birthday and felt like a mean mom because he had to get 4 shots. His 1 year measurements are below:

Height: 30 1/4 inches (50-75%)
Weight: 23 lbs, 2 oz (50-75%)
Head 18 3/4 inches (90%)

Steven's mom flew in town today and we all met the Allen family for dinner at La Ha to celebrate. Below are pictures of Levi eating his first cupcake.

Labor Day at the Lake

We spent Labor Day weekend at my parents lakehouse with them and my sisters family. The weather was awesome and we all had a wonderful time. I am so thankful for my family especially all the little ones and the time we all get to spend together!

Back to School

Wednesday 9/1 was Dylan's first day of school. This year he is going Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. His teacher Mrs. Fiorella came to the house last week to meet him and he seemed to like her instantly! He was very excited to go see all of his friends also. Two boys from his class last year are in his class again this year so he had no problem with me leaving. What a big boy and he was proudly wearing his dinosaur underwear although he was scared of the big school potty. His first day he had no accidents but held it all day. The second day they taught him to stand up and potty so he did not have to sit on the big scary potty and this has been working well!

Thursday 9/2 was Levi's first ever day of school. He is just going to Thursdays so I have a break! It was hard to leave him and I wanted to cry but the other moms were being tough so I held it in! I was also so looking forward to some me time. Levi did awesome for a first day but did not sleep to much so when I picked him up he was exhausted! He has one of Dylan's teachers from last year, Ms. Amy who is fabulous with little ones so I know he is in good hands. Dylan goes with me to pick Levi up from his classroom and he is so excited to see him also it it too cute and he tells the teachers that is his brother.

Below are pictures of my sweet little boys from their 1st days back to school.

Port A Weekend

Here are some pictures from our family weekend in Port A. We all enjoyed the beach and sunny weather. Our kids also slept very good all weekend and even later in the mornings than usual so that was a nice treat.

Potty Training

It took a few weeks but Dylan is potty trained! He prefers his small potty or going outside but is doing really well. We are so proud that our big boy gets to wear underwear to school!

My first weekend away

Moms gone wild was what we called our trip. I went with some very good friends to Canyon Lake for the weekend. Friday night we went to Gruene Hall and Saturday we tubed the river. It was such a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The boys stayed home with Steven and his brother Bryan and seemed to do very well. I talked to Dylan a few times a day and he would just say ,"you on vacation mommy!". When I got home he told me I could not go on anymore vacations!

Levi begins crawling & Moving Day

We moved to our new house and Levi began crawling all in the same day. Needless to say I have been super busy getting settled in and chasing after him! I promise to update with pictures and updates about the boys soon. I just wanted to let everyone know we are still here and doing well.
